Shades & Tints Open Mic 2021

The 3rd edition of Shades and Tints was organized in the Capital of Ghana on the 3rd of December, 2021 at TMSlive bar and Lounge, where Artists, Entrepreneurs, Influencers and Mental Health professionals graced the occasion with their presence. There were mental health discussions, acoustic vibes, art therapy sessions, spoken word and other engaging activities this year. The topics at the program was centered around Depression and Suicide as there were presentations and interview sessions vividly projecting knowledge in these areas. The experience was extremely intense as most of the participants were able to voice out their concerns, questions and experiences through the platform and activities we introduced.
A great partnership with ‘Blackbelt Ghana’ , Renner Music, Food Genuis, Gamers Loft, Sage Photography, Tumpaani Tv and the Creatives who supported made this event a success.
Shades & Tints Mental health talk 2020

This year, I joined forces with Norules Ghana (an NGO with the objective of tackling societal issues) and S3kyerewaa (an Alternative artist who has mental health at heart) to creating a space where creatives and other individuals converge under one roof to discuss mental health issues, via art , spoken word and music in a judgement-free space. #MINDyourHealth #BKind2UrMind
The event was postponed to 10th December (World mental health day) due to the Corona Virus Pandemic. The artworks displayed above holds some motivational messages by artists from Takoradi, Western region of Ghana, adding their voice to the campaign.
Shades & Tints-BKind2UrMind 2019

In 2019, I made my first move by organizing a street campaign and a concert for suicide prevention to observe the World Mental Health day, with the support of my family and friends. It was such an eye-opening experience and I can wait to see the impact this project will have on our local community. Looking forward to having some collaborations/partnerships in the coming years.
