It’s a great time to be ALIVE to witness and appreciate exceptional works of art by great artists in this generation. Welcome to today’s episode of ‘The Missi Show Live’ where I’ll be sharing with you, unique works of art by a mastermind from Ghana, West Africa.
If you consider yourself to be an art fanatic then you’re at the right space. Buckle up now because you’re about to be blown away into a magical place. (Did you see what I did there? Lol)

Many talented artists around the globe are recognised by using various tools and materials such as pencils, pen, crayons, charcoal, sand, straws, wool and other unique materials for their creative pieces. But how many of these artists do you know to use a delicate material such as an eggshell to creating their art pieces. There are! But veeeeeery few daring ones.
Talking about how delicate these shells are, can you imagine how complicated or should I say, how challenging it is to use such material to construct an art piece? Of course, a lazy artist like myself cannot even imagine!

Award winning creative artist, Azasime Kwame Lanto is a confident, talented and ambitious young creative genius from Ghana, who is currently taking over the art scene in Africa. He is known to combining discarded eggshells (which he gathers from food vendors and waste sites— and of course he processes them) with acrylic paint and an adhesive(white glue) to creating magical pieces on a canvas. Mind blowing! Isn’t it?
These mind boggling artworks showcased below are masterpieces, as well as my favorites, which have been given unique local names by the Art genius. He also indicates the medium used in executing all of the seven artworks displayed in this blog.
Scrutinize each of these great works of art carefully, selected by yours truly.
“The aim of Art is not only to represent the outward appearance of things but their inward significance” -Lanto Azasime
Interesting art pieces, right? Lanto also uses the most commonly used tools and materials; pencils, paint and brushes, to producing wonderful portraits and landscapes. He also produces abstract and digital paintings. I know what you’re thinking now: “So much talent bursting out of an individual?” Yes! You bet!
My vision is to become Africa’s most influential artist known for using discarded recyclable materials to create, document and address issues of the moments.

Connect with Lanto through his social media pages (Instagram: Lantos_Creative_Concept1) to feed your eyes with his numerous masterpieces and who knows, your next portraiture will be executed by this art genius.
Thanks for coming by, Dear Art Fanatics. Kindly watch the YouTube video below, which features Lanto. Have a colourful week!
Love and Light…
