Welcoooome to TMSlive! Hope all is well with you. Before you make any comment… I know! I know! It’s been a while I updated this blog. I’m doing it again, aren’t I? Believe me! I’m working on it.

So these past few days has been craaaazy! It’s like I’ve been juggling both visible and invisible round shots for quite sometime and It’s been so tiring and you can only imagine. Just so you know, it’s about to get exciting!

IT JUST DAWNED ON ME I’M STARTING A NEW RADIO GIG TOMORROW!!! Somebody Pinch me!!!!

Actually, it feels weird departing from my comfort zone. After almost four years on Campus Radio (about 4 hours away from home), I’m about joining forces with a private radio station in the capital, which is about 35 minutes away from my home and it’s got almost everyone, especially my family, super thrilled that I’m finally back home to stay. Well, I’m feeling quite uneasy with this new development, because it’s going to take me a while to fully adjust to my surroundings and I’m going to miss a lot of experiences and people. I bet it’s time to move on, and I understand things don’t always go as planned you know, but strongly I believe everything happens for a reason so I’ll just try to stay grounded and trust the universe.

Work starts tomorrow! and a part of my overly active mind is already swarmed up with questions like: Are my new listeners and colleagues going to accept me? Will I be able to connect with them as I did with the others? Is this going to be any different from my previous gig? What the hell am I going to do with my wild hair? What outfit should I pick? Do I even have the appropriate outfit for work? Do i need to apply make-Up? Yikes! I do sound extremely nervous.

The other part of my mind says, “Gurll, chill! you got this!” Even though this big move looks kind of scary, I’m so up for the challenge. In fact, I’m ready to rip up the pages in this new chapter already and stitch ‘em together with diamond superglue. ( Yeeeshh! Is it even a thing??)

I am so excited and grateful for this new gig, because your girl will be reaching a much bigger and wider audience, open to opportunities, networks and most importantly, get to learn the ins and outs of this new wave.

I think I just laid an egg!
